Operator Concept: Trojan

Biography

Trojan developed their skills through diffusing sophisticated explosive devices while deployed for Rainbow. Operation Teal Dragon was Trojan’s most infamous deployment. Soft chatter between soldiers could be heard throughout any barracks that Trojan passed through. The events of Operation Teal Dragon showcased Trojan’s ability to approach a heavily fortified stronghold and single-handily turn the stronghold against those that sought to dwell inside the protected walls. Trojan’s squad approached their target on that fateful night only to find a spike of insurgents deployed in the stronghold. The higher-ups of Team Rainbow decided the mission was a wash. Before they could retreat, Trojan’s squad mate was gunned down by a patrol. The squad of six men soon found themselves under heavily fire from those within the stronghold. Trojan took refuge behind a nearby building to utilize his Conversion drone.

From the way his mates tell the story, Operator Trojan then used his drone to self destruct the IEDs found in the stronghold that had been set up to protect the insurgents from Team Rainbow and other hostile targets. Suddenly the night sky filled with marvelous sparks as the walls of the stronghold crumbled. Eventually, the gunfire ceased and the squad was able to clear the stronghold and secure the target.

Conversion Drone

Trojan’s Conversion drone can level the playing field against heavily fortified areas by converting a trap or gadget to work against the defenders. The Conversion drone cannot capture defender’s utility from one scan. Extensive drone skills will be required to navigate the Conversion drone close enough to a trap in order to hack into it. Trojan will need to hack any two of the same trap to convert the utility against the defenders.

• Melusi – 2 = 3 Banshee Sonic Defense will affect defenders

Trojan will be equipped with two Conversion drones, similar to Twitch. The time required to hack into a trap will allow defenders time to identify and destroy the device.

What would Trojan add to the game?

With the introduction of Trojan, you would force players to be aware of their trap placements while also promoting the need to destroy drones during all phases of the round. The trap meta would be directly impacted by the introduction of Trojan.
